Shiloh Spring CTL Preview

MR CTL Release

After losing four seniors to graduation at the end of their first spring, the Shiloh squad added five new shooters, with four eighth grade or younger, to help continue their early tradition into the Spring 2019 season.

TOP RETURNERS.  All-State Sophomore Andrew Ring returns to lead the Skyhawks shooters, touting an overall average of 21.8 from last spring and fall.  His brother, Senior William Ring (19.0 Fall ’18 avg), looks to build on his five-target improvement last autumn and help pave the way to state for the Shiloh shooters.

ONES TO WATCH.  Freshman Trenton Radenz and Junior Daniel Murray return to the CCGC houses after taking the fall season off, and bring their Spring ’18 averages of 21.0 and 20.7 respectively to establish a core group of four varsity shooters.  The team will be looking to Freshman Isaac Heringer (15.6 Spring ’18 avg) and Braiden Kuehn (15.5 Spring ’18 avg) to make their move to an average of 19 or better and round out a varsity squad for state.

OTHER NOTES. Ethan, Ashley and Ryan Gerving will be the first three-sibling set to shoot for the Skyhawks.  Shiloh finished second in their conference in Spring 2018 competition and intends to challenge for the top spot once again this year. Mark Sandness returns to coach the Shiloh CTL team this spring.

Check in tomorrow for our St. Mary’s preview and get ready for our season opener on Sun. Mar. 24!
